WHO ARE WE?
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (BeluxCham) is a non-profit, non-governmental, professional association providing services to its members and promoting Belgian-Luxembourg-Vietnamese trade relations.
(Beluxcham was officially inaugurated by H.R.H. Prince Philippe on October 16, 2003)
In February of 2004 the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement in presence of Mrs. Lydie POLFER, Vice Premier of Luxembourg.

Signing ceremony of the affiliation agrrement with Eurocham on the 5th of May 2006. On this accasion, Beluxcham officially becomes Eurocham member and Beluxcham office also move to the premises of Eurovilla

HISTORY
What started in the years 2001- 2002 as a « club of friends » rapidly evolved in 2003 in a professional association of Belgian entrepreneurs, initially called the BELGIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in VIET NAM (BELCHAM).
As from the start in early March of 2003, we met a growing demand on information from Belgian and Luxemburg entrepreneurs as well. The right path was found to serve and support those enterprises and individuals currently operating in Viet Nam and those companies willing to do so. End of 2004 we decided to expand our services to our Luxembourg “compatriotes” and we became the actual Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of commerce inVietnam. In short BELUXCHAM .
So far, with the assistance of the Board Members and the Executive staff, each and everyone of them, try to give full sense on the goals of BeluxCham. We got full support and guidance of the Embassy, and the Consulate General. Even the Province of East Flanders played the last 3 years an active role in creating, with the help of Beluxcham, the “School of Excellence”, a training center, to improve the skills of the Vietnamese staff working for Belgian companies.
Belgium and Luxembourg were from the start involved in the growing force of the European Union, we felt also the growing need to join the European Chamber of Commerce inVietnam. Begin 2006 our board agreed on this and May 2006 we signed the affiliation agreement with Eurocham. Our office moved the same month in the Eurovilla area. Joining Eurocham gives our members a big boost in widening their business network.
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, being an independent, non-profit organization, relies on the financial support of the membership fees, institutions and administrations recognizing the values of BeluxCham to foster a long term initiative. Much appreciation is therefore appropriate. We have been invited in several projects by official EU organization to join our forces in promoting Vietnamese companies to do business with European countries and last year we were present at the well known International ACCENTA fair in Gent to promote our business association to Belgian companies.
Therefrom BeluxCham has been playing an important role as social partner. Hence the monthly returning activity to network and strengthen the ties with all Belgians andLuxembourg residents or visitors passing by.
We hope that with the still growing interest of the Belgian business community for Vietnam, new Belgian or Luxembourgcompanies will join us, so that we can continue to play an active role to enhance their activities in Vietnam.
