We would like to invite you to Beluxcham monthly Seminar & Networking with the topic “Mekong Plus eliminates poverty“.
Mekong Plus (www.mekongplus.org) started from scratch 29 years ago. It now operates in 1000 villages in Vietnam and 70 in Cambodia. Bernard Kervyn, co-founder, will explain why and how the microcredit program is so successful. How every year 125.000 villagers help the poorest children to access school. The environment is an important part and Mekong Plus runs an innovative plastic waste recycling program. Bernard is also very keen to develop win-win partnerships with businesses in Vietnam.
