We extend a warm invitation to join BeLuxCham on an enriching journey to Tanh Linh in Binh Thuan Province, where we will delve into the transformative support initiatives orchestrated by Mekong Plus through an immersive two-day bamboo bike tour.

Experience the thrill of traversing rural paths in Tanh Linh, Binh Thuan, astride the innovative Mekong Plus bamboo bikes
Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of local cuisine and culture, graciously hosted by the inhabitants of Tanh Linh
Gain profound insights into the daily lives of the resilient villagers, as we intimately explore the fabric of their existence in Tanh Linh, Binh Thuan

Tour Details:

Date: May 11th – 12th, 2024 (2 days, 1 night)
Participation Fee: 5.6 million VND per person (inclusive of transportation, expert guidance, bicycle rental, 4 meals, and 1 night’s accommodation at a local hotel).
For each participant, a donation of 2 million VND is dedicated to funding Mekong Plus’ educational and agricultural endeavors, aimed at uplifting the underprivileged locals.
For each BeLuxCham member joining the trip, BeLuxCham will match the donation amount with 2 million VND during the trip.

Because of the sanitary situation, Vietnamese authorities are demanding a copy of the passports, visas (for foreigners), or IDs (Vietnamese) of participants be submitted to them by Thursday, 25th April 2024

Program

7:00 AM: Departure from HCMC to Tanh Linh with transportation accommodating 9 seats
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit the Tanh Linh project office
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Engage in the traditional cake-making activity alongside underprivileged families supported by the TC center, followed by lunch
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Check-in at the hotel
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Explore the bamboo store
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Visit poor households who did pig bank model, children received a scholarship
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner
After 7:00 PM: Free time

7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Breakfast
8:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Visit households benefiting from housing support, scholarships for children
11:30 AM – 2.30 PM: Visiting to Thac Ba waterfall landscape and have lunch (BBQ)
2.30 PM – 3.30 PM: Visiting to child received a monthly scholarship
4.00 PM: Back to HCMC
